PRE–ORDER
WHY WE DO PRE-ORDER?
Maison Marron et amis is a small, independent, female-led brand.
We don’t create for algorithms. We don’t chase trends.
And we don’t want to produce clothing into a void — hoping it finds a home. Every piece we make begins with intention.
We produce in small batches and only when you ask for it — slowly, carefully, and consciously. This isn’t just about reducing waste. It’s about reclaiming the rhythm of creation in a world driven by urgency, overproduction, and the male gaze.
Pre-ordering allows us to stay true to what we believe in:
Designing with meaning. Producing with care.
And offering you garments that don’t demand attention — but hold it.

WHAT IS PRE-ORDER?
When you purchase one of our products on pre-order, it means the item hasn’t been produced yet. We collect all orders first, then begin production based on demand.
How long does it take until you receive your order?
Our lead times vary between 3 and 12 weeks.
Why do our lead times vary?
Pre-order times depend on the complexity of each design. Some pieces are quicker to produce, while others require more time. We work with three different factories to distribute the workload evenly, ensuring that quality is maintained throughout the production process.
Why does it take time?
We believe that quality should never be rushed. Taking the necessary time ensures each garment meets our high standards. This is why our lead times range from 3 to 12 weeks.
Keeping you informed
We always strive to meet our estimated timelines and will keep you updated on your order’s progress. If you’d like more details about your specific order, feel free to contact us directly.
HOW YOUR PRE-ORDER COMES TO LIFE
We offer pre-order sales on our e-shop several times a year, typically for periods of 1 to 3 weeks or more.
Once you place your order, we forward it to our partner factories: ISIRA in Lithuania and GS7 in Bulgaria for our woven garments, and FMF in Italy/ Romania for our knitted pieces. We include an additional percentage for any size exchanges.
FMF orders additional yarn if necessary and begins knitting. This is followed by assembly, washing, ironing and a thorough quality control process.
The finished garments are then shipped by truck from Lithuania, Bulgaria, and Romania. After a journey of 4 to 6 days, they arrive at our studio in Oldenburg. There, we take each garment out of the box and prepare your order, or it finds its place in our stock storage in Oldenburg.
